My car's been in the shop since last week and I might fiiiinally get it back tomorrow. I've gone to this place for years and it's never taken more than like 2 days in the past so I don't know what's taking so long (and they have no explanation other than "we're really busy" which just seems weird because they've never been THIS busy before) and it's really frustrating having to get rides and feel like I'm inconveniencing everybody.

So if that happens, probably doing some shopping and just finding some places to go because aside from work, a couple errands, and lunch with my mom once, I haven't really gotten out of the house in almost two weeks.

If I'm still without a car, I'll just be hanging out at home, reading/watching TV/listening to podcasts/playing games/looking at random stuff online. Maybe go for a walk around the neighborhood if it's not too hot.

I hope you get it back! What was wrong with it?

I had to swerve to avoid hitting a deer and hit the curb. Luckily it seemed like a flat tire was all the damage I had but I wanted them to check out the underside of the car and make sure nothing under there got damaged. That was last week. I thought "ok, they're busy and they want to be extra thorough, I get it, surely I'll have it back by the beginning of next week". Nope. I found out on Monday that there was no other damage so all they needed to do was replace the tire...how it took all of this week and it's still not fixed I have no idea.
