I kinda agree with this comment.

The boys used to have to work for their growth, but Tsuna pops in some lenses and now he's Super!Tenth all of a sudden? *bored*

He did work to do the X Burner, the problem was he couldn't control it correctly. The lenses help him to do that.

Honestly, I rather do the lenses than more chapters of him training to perfect it, at least when he gets back in the past, he won't be able to use it like he could with the lenses.

True. I'd rather read the quick fix if the choice was that or endless chapters of training. (Though I have to keep reminding myself that I AM reading shounen. ^_~)

I guess I just miss the character development from the earlier chapters? We got to see that with Gokudera and his puzzle box in this arc (ajdflkjfaldjfl I love how his technique relies on him using other flame types as opposed to his usual go-it-alone-ness.) and I was hoping for more of that with Tsuna too. Though his increased confidence is nice. :)

I would call Tsuna stopped flopping around and finally decided to be a mafia boss and a newfound confidence in himself a huge development for him. But the chapters are really focused on the Millefiore and action. I'm actually glad it's picking up speed now too.

It is a huge development! And it makes me really excited about what is to come for him, especially now that we're getting close to having everyone back together again. *pines for more character interaction vs. current shounen action*

I just hope that all the character development(Tsuna stopped acting like a little bitch, Gokudera decided to rely on others instead of acting like a lone-wolf, am I missing someone?)stays. I would HATE if, when the arc ends, everyone goes back to the way they were before. Not that I think Amano would do something as stupid as that, but I can´t help but fear it. Also, does Yamamoto still think the whole mafia thing is a game? Because THAT became tiring for me very quickly -___-

*nods* You know what I'd like to see? Post-arc, a scene where one of the characters (I'm picturing Gokudera) slips back into his old behavior, but sort of gives this sheepish, knowing grin to whoever he's with--one that says, "See how ridiculous we used to be? WE ARE MENS NOW!"

I don't know about Yamamoto. I mean, Reborn has apparently told him all sorts of things, and for any other character, that would have made them see the light. But it is Yamamoto we're talking about here... (I do like the very brief encounter between him and Genkishi though. Yamamoto who is all honesty and emotional nakedness, up against someone who is all illusion. And he failed pretty miserably... So we know where HIS growth needs to be.)
