130. One aspect of what that character is being changed does not effect everything else about what makes that character that character. They still have the same personality. It's called an AU, and guess what? It works in reverse. Ooh look these characters are vampires now in this story! Seriously, this is just a staple of fandom, just stop worrying about it. :|

131. ... That is so fucking cute, what is going on in that scene?

139. Yeah, this was pretty much my reaction upon finding out that there was no Kariya/Beat in the TWEWY fandom (this is back before there was any, and there's still only like... TWO OR THREE THINGS asjhakf). "THE GAME GIVES US THE LINE let's see how many licks it takes!! AND THE FANDOM IS FULL OF SLASH FANS. WH-WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE??" XDDD;;;

145. ... HAHAHAHAHAHA I WANT THIS FIC and also that is my favorite picture ever. Deeeeerp that scene. XD Also, now all I can think is Joshua and Minamimoto going "GO TEAM VENTURE!" and I can't stop cracking up, daaaaaaaamn it...

151. ... I would do this. Hey, anything that leads you to making music and learning new things is awesome, don't feel too bad! =D

154. Well, the thing is, TTGL wasn't just a parody, whereas Yakipan is more of one. TTGL was a parody and a nod and also trying to be an example of the genre, and as part of the genre it takes the cliches and makes itself a great example of the genre. It's crack in some parts, sure, but it's not PURE crack and it was never meant to be. Yakipan is supposed to be more crack. It's really not possible to compare the two like that, because they were both trying for completely different effects.

157. Oh, man, I am a sucker for shit like that. I would bawl. So don't feel too weird. |DD;

160. Hey, if teenagers can slash and femslash adults, I don't see why it shouldn't work the other way around. It's not like you're going "I WANT INTO THAT TEENAGER'S PAAAAANTS," because yeah, then it would get a bit creepy. XD (Not that that's true across the board, because HAHAHA ANIME TEENAGERS. Sometimes lookin' more like adults than adults do. :B Just roll with it.)

161. Then, congratulations, you are an asshole.

167. ... What Gary Stuism what? XDDDDD Oh lol you. S-seriously, most of the heroes are HALF DEAD, most of the bad guys are HALF DEAD, Tsuna's inability to go down is seriously being matched by Genkishi's, Shouichi and Byakuran are still ahead, and Tsuna's UBERPOWER has been the same as since the beginning of the series, wtf gaiz way to take Reborn srsly.

not!secret #1: Because being a fan of the first few seasons STILL means being a fan of at least part of the show, which STILL means they have a place in fandom. Plus, I know from experience that when shows go downhill you tend to cling on for a while in the hopes that they'll do a 180 and turn not-shite again before it's too late. (This does not express my views on Heroes, as I still REALLY FUCKING NEED to see that show.)

not!secret #3 AND WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET:

Jesus Christ.

not!secret #4: Uhhhh... something doesn't have to be canon for you to ship it. Durrrrr.

not!fandom #3: HAHAHA my friend says "fuck the WHAT?!" and we sort of started seeing FTW as that automatically. It was hilarious.

too big: And congratulations for not naming any single reason why people didn't like the epilogue. ;; All I've heard is that DUH the pairings were fine, but it was sloppily written, came across awkwardly, and overall seemed like she stuck a fanfic on the end. Character getting a happy ending =/= the ending was well written or a good one. It depends on how the author handles it.

That said, I think Albus Severus Potter is actually a nice sounding name, and like that he was named that. Blah.

Agreed. I hate the "I don't like this book, and yet other people say it's good. This must mean they are stupid and wrong!" mentality. Yes, any thought that isn't currently in your head is bad.

And what's sad is that it seems like EVERY DAY there is at least one secret with this attitude. ffffffffffff WHY. "OMG HOW COME PEOPLE LIKE THIS?!" "IF YOU DON'T LOVE THIS YOU HAVE NO TASTE!" Nono, people, that's not how it woooorks. =_=

Yeah, it seems like some people here really struggle with that concept.

Haha, I was going to say the same thing. Considering the shape most of the good guys are in and the fact that the bad guys are still holding their biggest trump cards in reserve (hell, Byakuran isn't even there), I'm pretty confused by the accusation of Gary Stuism. I mean, if they were winning, maybe. As it is... can't say I really see it. XD
