And if either of you were right about why a lot of people hate the epilogue, you'd have a point. But you're not, so you don't.

Except for the 'slashy crack pairings' thing, the secretposter comes across to me as just honestly confused, which is the same way I feel about it. I realize that HP makes people tetchy, but the way people reacted to the epilogue seemed to me to be as if it read "ROCKS FALL EVERYONE DIES". The secretposter just seems to think it was an exaggerated reaction-- I agree. I don't think the epilogue was perfect, but I don't see why everyone is so up in arms.

it was forced and awkward.
