As much as I agree with everything else you said, I'd like to point out that ASP (heehee...) will grow up in the Wizarding World, where things are a bit different.
Frankly, I was more annoyed that all the kids were named after Harry's relatives and heroes... Did Ginny just not get a say or what? I suppose it could be argued that she let her siblings deal with the family name stuff, since Harry's the only member of his family left to carry on family names, but still

(Anonymous) 2008-10-07 11:10 am (UTC)(link)That really bothered me, too. It seemed to be all about what Harry wanted. Plus I felt that the kids couldn't have their own identities, they were mini-versions of Harry's parents, right down to their appearance. Yuck.
