Yeah, I hate it when people are all: "Pfffft I watch British dramas so I am more sophisticated and better than everyone else."

I'm a huge Doctor Who fan and a huge anime fan. I can't understand how anyone who loves DW could seriously put anime down as being dumb cartoons for kids. DW is very geared towards the kiddies and can sometimes be laughably silly -- that's part of the charm. And then, just like anime, other times it is extremely deep and thought-provoking and moving.

OT, but I watched clips of the Japanese dub of Doctor Who on YouTube and it warmed my heart that Rose was voiced by Maaya Sakamoto (Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club) and Ten was voiced by Duo Maxwell! <3
