I remember maxing out my storage of meat at one point and I felt bad about accidentally running over smaller animals when on my Strider.

I am apparently incapable of leaving anything behind even if I don't need it (I blame how much I've played Breath of the Wild and became a hoarder of resources there). I was stupidly pleased in Horizon Zero Dawn when I discovered I could increase how much crap I could carry. I rarely use potions or traps but good God, I'm still maxed on them somehow.

Do you have the expansion? Scorchers are absolutely intolerable unless you’re guzzling fire-resistance potions.

Yes, I do. The first one was a big pain in the rear for me because I wasn't expecting to run across it at all.

But I haven't had that much trouble. To be fair, I'm playing on super-easy story mode (which may also be why I manage to have hoarded so much stuff....) because I was mostly interested in the actual story instead of combat.

Now that I think I have the hang of things, more or less, I'll probably replay it on a harder mode after I finish (nearly done, have a bit left to do in the expansion and then I plan on going back to Meridian to start the last stuff in the base game.)

Also: I think the city being named Meridian is funny because we have a town by that name in my home state and it's not nearly as beautiful or dramatic, hahah.

If it's at all possible I'll never kill an animal in a game. Even when the game makes you do it, I will honestly look away, keysmash, or get my sister to do it...
