Yes in the beginning. But she goes back to her original time and then chooses to go back to the past to be back with the other guy. Her husband gets the short end of the stick and she treats him pretty poorly.

I don't know what happens in the books, but in the show she only goes back after Frank dies. Plus, eventually Frank starts having sex with other women, and falls in love with someone else. I mean, yeah, his situation isn't great, but the show is sympathetic to him. It's not like he's expected to just spend the rest of his life in a sexless marriage. He and Claire do the best they can. It's far from ideal, and at times it's a little ugly between them, but I thought the way the show treated their situation was pretty fair to both of them.
