I'm glad Jonathan Frakes is getting more attention recently. Jonathan Frakes deserves constant respect and admiration.

+1. I remember being pleasantly surprised to learn Commander Riker directed some of my favorite Leverage episodes. The dude has been doing solid work for years.

I recently listened to the audiobook "Imzadi" narrated by him, and let me tell you, hearing Jonathan Frakes say "animalistic sex kitten" was worth the money. (The story was fun, too.)

He's a pretty good television director and he's pretty funny on DVD commentary.

Other Star Trek series alumni, Roxann Dawson and Robert Duncan McNeill, are also pretty good at directing television.
