I watched that last night because...no reason, I just wanted something kinda mindless to watch, I guess.

But I didn't realize how mindless and of course just as it actually started getting interesting it was over.

Also: yes, the animation is weird. I kept getting distracted by how much they looked like dolls. Particularly the eyes looked exactly like the way they paint eyes on toys a lot of the time.
