I like FLCL: Alternative more than classic Fooly Cooly. I really related to Kana and had a circle of friends like hers in high school. Nobody seems to want to talk about or even remember Alternative after the fuckery that was Progressive though and the few fans I’ve talked to have been shocked that I would rate Alternative higher than the original. Plus, I never really caref if Naota came back or not. I just wanted to know if Mamimi was doing okay.
