Magic Carpet, the movie version of it reminded me of my dog, and even if it wasn't sentient it would still be a lot more fun I think.

Carpet. I could lay flat on it and clutch the tassels with a death grip so I didn’t fall off, and if I threw up I’d be less likely to fall off.
