(Anonymous) 2019-07-30 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)MercenariesStormchasers hunting down and spazzing out over tornadoes. Meg can come too. Or just be the home base.I just wish that Bill was less of a dick in general. He's okay, and I like the rapport he has bouncing off Jo, but honestly he could be 100% lifted from the movie and I would still love it.

(Anonymous) 2019-07-30 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)Seriously, though, yeah, I like that movie, too, OP. It's cheesy fun :D. And I like anything about tornadoes in general-terrifying as they are, they still fascinate me.
Plus, I remember liking "Mad About You" as a kid and watching it with my mom a lot, so it was fun for me to see Helen Hunt in a big movie, too.

(Anonymous) 2019-07-31 12:37 am (UTC)(link)My meteorology professor made a drinking game out of it and we were forbidden from trying it or else we'd end up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning. There's that many problems with it, scientifically speaking, BUT IT'S STILL THE PERFECT MOVIE IN MY HEART

It's one of those just absolute *go to* movies for me. I bought the soundtrack when it came out, way back in the day and used to listen to it obsessively. :)
So yeah, anon, I'm right there with you. :)
