It lacks a kind of intelligence. I haven’t seen anyone try to argue he’s an absolute moron, just that he gets himself into problems they maybe can’t see Aziraphale getting into as the book version. And these are people who like the character. OP’s deep analysis of gendered bias seems a bit of a stretch.
