101. Actually, I'm glad he got out of Angel. Nothing sucks more than having your career define by one character. Of course, people will still remember him as Angel, but it's nice he's in a role with a character that isn't like Angel.

107. Depends on which friends they are, if you know what I mean. Just kidding. When I think "Holy shit, I'd hit it" I don't more than a transient moment. I don't think most people would ship a pairing for self-insertion (I don't, I don't like imagining it). It's like a small moment when you put aside that the character doesn't exist and imagine that that person exist. Oh fuck it, it's not something that can be pin down for one person.

122. LOL, whatever, it's not like you're better than me if that's you trying to get that. Why people can let others enjoy their thing?

128. Except that Kingdom Hearts didn't invent the trope. Also, read moar if you want development (I suspect you only read a few volumes). Honestly, Tsubasa is really for the longtime CLAMP fans more than anything. It's not the greatest they done, but I had to defend it for that comment.

161. Err, no. Personally, I don't mind a girl who can show vulnerability, but when they keep perpetuating the same type over and over again in different manga/anime, it gets annoying. They don't want a guy with boobs, they want a girl who kick ass without sacrificing her femininity to do so. They want to see girls other than being the damsel in distress and useless. There's nothing misogynistic about it.

164. Honey and Clover will always be one of my favorite series ever. It is funny that me and my friends were similar to them in college and how much I related to Takemoto. But I do hope I find my path one day.

Despite what everybody thinks, not a troll. I have no problem with you enjoying those things if you wish. If I did, I'd be going around and flaming folks for it, which I don't. I just wanted to be able to say my opinion without a billion hateful replies in my inbox for it.

Like you said, people should have the right to like what the like. The problem if it doesn't feel like I get that. I'm not allowed to enjoy my thing. I say I won't write those things fr people when I offer requests and I sometimes get flames for it.

So, not trying to troll, or bug people, just be honest in the one place I can without getting voted off the island. :)

I think people would be more willing to let you just "enjoy your thing" if you weren't claiming it was "pure". 'Cause the whole tone of the secret was "oh, ew, all of those other things are liek sooooo unnatural!" You come off as a homophobic prat.

Well, the OP does say "porn" meaning straight stuff. So, no, not homophobia.
Buy, yeah, the "pure" thing is what's bugging people. But I already covered that in another post, so...

Just jumping in here -

"Porn" would cover het, yaoi and yuri - so it's sort of extra irritating that the OP thought it necessary to give those special mentions, instead of just letting them come under that umbrella term.

True, but I'm inclined to think the OP wasn't intentionally being homophobic. In other reply, s/he says s.he's a kid, so it's possible s/he just doesn't know all the terminology (yet).

You're probably right. (Someone just reading the secret wouldn't necessarily know that, mind you.)

Just make it clear and general -- "I only write gen fic, so come to me with your gen requests!" That way rather than saying what you won't write (and potentially talking down about it) you say what you do like.

And you can consider not offering to do requests, since you do have so many squicks. There are many ways to challenge your writing without opening yourself up to requests you don't like.

I agree with this; it's not DB-playing-someone-other-than-Angel that annoys me so much as AtS getting inexplicably canceled so that the second half of s5 was rushed and the canon continuation ended up an (at best) mediocrely illustrated comic.

Which I realize isn't Bones' fault, but I wish I could see DB riding a dragon and talking to a giant psychic beta fish instead of doing interrogation scene after interrogation scene.
