I'm still irked by people on the net stating their personal views by writting things like "It sucks" or "It's amazing" instead of "I hated it" or "I think it was great". Sometimes (rarely) the implication that they know their opinion isn't "the one true opinion" is there but often it's clear that they think their opinions are facts and they are being very pushy about it. That and the use of "female" instead of "women" or "girls" ("female" is for animals that aren't human only) is also a sure way for me to think that you're a bit of an annoying git.

Just because they sound like they think their opinions are fact doesn't mean they actually think their opinions are facts. It's a figure of speech.

I agree the figure of speech in itself doesn't 100% prove that they think their opinion are facts. But, more often than not, after having said that, they act like they do think their opinion are "the right one" and like everybody else is stupid for think otherwise. So, I have gain a tendency to be suspicious of those that use that figure of speech.
