I get it monthly from the vet via a plan. I don't know what it is called but I've never had any issues.

is it possible it is tics and not fleas? They need a different deterrent and are more noticeable on your dog.

I'm going to talk to our vet about switching to a different oral medication.

We've actually gotten both but the fleas are the more common problem and it's definitely fleas. Frontline Plus is supposed to cover both fleas and ticks. It doesn't deter, though. AFAIK no treatment actually repels fleas, just kills them either after contact or after they bite your pet.
