All right, I'm allergic to flea venom, so I hate fleas.

Lavender oil. Go to GNC if you have one or order through AMAZON if you don't. You can diffuse it in your house, doing a room for about 20 minutes. It will kill the fleas and the eggs. Do this every day moving from room to room for a couple weeks or until you don't see them anymore doing your usual cleaning. You might want to then do it once a month or every month afterwards. Flea eggs are annoying and your dog might bring them in from outside or interacting with other dogs.

I went to a hotel once that wasn't supposed to be a pet bedroom and it had fleas. (Bastards sneaking their pets in like that, gah.) I got lavender oil and like put it in my suitcase and slathered myself with it and yes, moved rooms, my GOD. They didn't go with me in my things or on me. Tea Tree Oil will repel them but lavender oil will kill them. You can also put it into shampoo for yourself. I'd double check about the dog shampoo though.
