- Have you tried spaced repetition in learning? There's probably an app for it.
- That said, writing by hand makes you remember more information than typing on a keyboard. I'm not dedicated enough to supply my duolingo with handwriting yet, but it might be worth trying.
- Conventional wisdom says you need to use a word ten times in a relevant context before you've learned it
- Context Is Important. Write/speak/read/listen to full sentences.
- This is youtube wisdom and has no scientific backup as I know it, but my own personal experience supports it: Watch TV/film with subtitles in the same language.
