Wait, Yennifer is supposed to be physically deformed? I've only played Witcher 3 where she very much is not, was this some early canon I missed?

She had a hunchback until she came under the tutelage of Tissaia de Vries, who fixed her up with magic. It's explicitly stated a lot of sorceresses are so beautiful because they use magic to enhance their appearance. A lot of Yennefer's characterization comes from her past as an unwanted, deformed daughter.
