What are your favorite boss fights?

I like any boss that feels epic to fight but isn't too annoying to actually battle (in terms of gameplay). I loved the fire temple boss in Ocarina of Time. Anything in Shadow of the Colossus. Fighting dragons in Skyrim.

Queen Gohma from Ocarina of Time because it was the first boss battle I ever did.

The boss battle where I felt the most accomplishment was the Lich King in ICC. My guild was small and it took us a long, long time but when we killed him it was so awesome.

I'm not actually a gamer. But if I were, it would be Sauron in Shadow of Mordor and dragons in Skyrim. I wish I had gaming skills just so I could play those.

Dark Souls/Bloodborne have a lot of fights that made me grit my teeth and rage at the time, but looking back on them now it's just "wow, that was awesome." Special mention to the Abyss Walkers, Ornstein + Smough and Father Gascoigne.

The ones that let me skip them. I'm a sucker for bosses that can be beaten with the right skill check, or by completing the right events the right way earlier in the game. Bosses you can't outright beat without a fight but can make significantly easier by making the right choices/taking the right steps are also awesome. It feels more immersive to me than straight-up pounding on yet another enemy.

...I'll usually beat them with straight-up pounding at least once anyway because I replay things I like and collect endings like trading cards, but I like the option not to.
