I judge a show by the rewards they give the asshole characters, not the "oh look at us, we're so ironic" humor they claim to be spouting. This is not the age of irony any longer. This is the age of "fake news" where facts are treated like fiction and irony is taken seriously by the buffoons who slurp it up.
