Hard agree, Anon. I just did not enjoy The Them in the series *at all*.

I rarely enjoy any media that relies heavily on child actors, tbh. They're usually just... not good enough. That's an awful thing to say, but it's true. They lack the experience and range to really carry off those tricky roles and a lot of their acting falls flat, IMO. But the writing didn't help in this case and the pacing dragged during their scenes.
