SA and for the record I have several favorite characters who are spiteful awful assholes and I think that character type is great. The difference is that no one thinks they're heroes when they're being spiteful and awful and no one tries to say they were RIGHT to be spiteful and awful. It's treated as the low moment it is and they have to make up for it or continue being seen as an asshole.
