Recently rewatched this with my boyfriend and the whole time, I was just thinking, "man, they're really trying to get me to care about this guy." But I could not care less for him. I HATE that as the movies went on, they tried to make his character "deeper" and more interesting, he's so bland and boring. And while I'm not a fan of Jeremy Renner, I can admit that I've seen older movies (indies mostly) where he has actual talent and actually TRIES, but as Hawkeye he just falls so. Flat.
