It hits me hard sometimes that I'll probably never be able to visit my friend's grave, because it's out in rural nowhere, 1000 miles away, and on her family's property. Even if they said it was okay, it would be a huge struggle to find a way to get there, not one that's worth it for only being there a few hours, no matter how badly I want to just lie down there and sing to her and touch the tree they planted and maybe just stay there until I died of thirst.

Worst of all (but not really), I have yet to find a song that resonates with my feelings about her.
