Not OP, but I've definitely seen this sentiment before. I saw it all over the place five or six years ago. These days I think it's less common, but I still see people going into "safe sex in fanfic" lecture mode sometimes on tumblr.

And my god was "Let's pause the sexytiems and discuss safe sex" common in my last major fandom.

I think it got left on the wayside of the next thing being "if sex in fandom exists at all some child will be exposed to it and you are a BAD PERSON for endangering minors so fannish content must be G rated now" discourse tbh. So OP, just enjoy your condom-free sex. It's a pretty common kink.
