Oh god, tell me about it.

I have this weird issue where I can't burp. I've just never been able to. It's a thing. So after I eat a meal, I inevitably get a gassy stomach, but the only way I can feel better is by forcing myself to gag (not even throw up, just gag). But I don't feel comfortable with making myself gag at work, or in a public bathroom, because I don't want people assuming I'm bulimic. So I end up being uncomfortable a lot.

Have you ever tried this product called Beano? It's an anti-gas thing you take before a meal, and it works very, very well.

No, I've never heard of that. I'll definitely give it a try though, because man if it works that would be great.

Apparently there is actually a procedure to treat my problem. You get a botox injection in your throat. But it seems complicated to pursue and unlikely to be covered. So if Beano works, I think I'll stick with that. :)
