Under "Extra hilarious because it's people I don't like" -
1) The Nostalgia Critic, in his video for "Mad Max: Fury Road", concluded that fangirls only care about Tom Hardy being a feminist who's good with dogs because he is also hot. His evidence for this was that fangirls don't go wild over Mark Ruffalo (which... isn't true?) or *drumroll* Louis C.K.!!! So that video aged like milk!

2) One of the guys behind CinemaSins (Jeremy) made a video that basically boiled down to, "Dear Marvel, no-one's gonna watch Civil War because they'll be busy watching the clearly superior Batman V Superman, duh, this is so obvious," which is just... one of the most unintentionally funny things I've ever watched? Of course he's deleted it from pretty much everywhere, but this is the internet! And the internet never forgets! :D

I feel like Hardy and Ruffalo are like apples and oranges and they get fangirled in different ways?

Oh sure, but they definitely both *have* fangirls - I don't know how many times I've seen people squee over Ruffalo's fluffy hair and deep hatred of fracking.

Arguably, absolutely anything NC has made has aged liked milk.

& LOL IRL @ the second one.

Oh man. I've always been a DC fan and Civil War was pretty meh, but BvS was just not good.

I've always preferred the DC characters and I only read DC comics. But I rarely enjoy DC adaptions, except for some of the animated ones. Marvel has just done a better job, for the most part.

AYRT - I hated Civil War (didn't see BvS), but it's pretty hard to dispute the plain numbers: CW made 1.153 billion USD, BvS made 872.7 million USD. I mean, 800 mil isn't exactly chump change, but it's not Billion-with-a-B either!

The thing about me with the NC is that I used to like his stuff, then he did that god awful Sailor Moon review then everything else he had ever done suddenly aged like milk.

AYRT - oh hey, that was my breaking point too. It offended me down to my 90s child soul.
