101. Aside from the teenagers part, that's my general opinion of most fanon pairings, though not quite as strongly. But what about canon pairings?

122. I'd say the problem is more that you think you're sexist and have a problem and are trying to hide it than anything else. Be honest about what you like. You'll be happier, even if people disagree with you.

136. And everytime I think about touching the show again, I get reminded of why the fandom (and TPTB listening to them) pretty much made me start hating it.

It's funny, it's generally canon pairings that I dislike and find improbable or at least destructive to the female character's characterisation...I kind of like canon gay but the het I like is all fanon. (OBVS NOT THE OP :D )

Most fanon pairings that see (absolutely zero clue what fandoms or genres we have in common, or group overlap) often seem to be "what I want for my favorite" or shipping character types more than characters. Mind you, I don't actually really "ship" a lot. As long as it doesn't annoy me, I'm good.
