Yeah. I mean, the occasional jumpscare, if well timed and used sparingly, can be super effective but most games just go "JUMPSCARE!" ..." HEY ANOTHER JUMPSCARE!!" ... "OMG YET ANOTHER JUMPSCARE ARE YOU SCARED YET? NO? WELL THEN LET'S THROW A COMPLETELY GROTESQUE PILE OF FLAILING FUSED BODY PARTS AT YOU!...(also: jumpscare! Just for good measure)".

And what pissed me off is that I do jump every single time and then get annoyed at myself because I've been expecting it and still jump and it's so bloody cheap.
