Yeah, this. Bringing up legality in an argument about morality is just not a good idea and is typically very Western-centric. For one thing, homosexuality is illegal in a lot of parts of the world, does that mean homosexuality is morally wrong? Age of consent skews to worrisome levels in certain parts of the world, does that make it morally right for a 25 year old to sleep with 13 year olds in certain prefectures in Japan? Laws just don't work in defining morality.
