116. I'm not in the fandom, and I don't watch the show regularly, but I disliked Cameron since she tried to date her boss and then spent countless episodes mooning after him. That shit's annoying. I watch "Pushing Daisies" but can't stand to watch Ned mooning over Chuck, either, so it's not a gender thing. For the record, I like 13 and Cuddy a lot.

161. I could not agree with you more, OP. Forget Beth's death; I cried my eyes out when Jo rejected Laurie and he stormed off ("Where are you going?" "To the devil!" *sob*). And then, somewhere I read that Alcott had done that because she didn't like being pressured to marry Jo off....so WTF was up with the Professor, then, Louisa? Laurie was her equal, who respected her and knew her inside and out. The Professor didn't have any of that. *GRRRRRR* Man, I first read that book at age 8, 22 years ago, and I'm still pissed off. AND THEN LAURIE MARRIED AMY. WTFF. *has aneurysm*

I'm so with you there. I'm very bitter still. My roommate and I were talking about it about a week ago!

Laurie marrying Amy was the final straw. I never forgave her, even as a kid, for burning Jo's book. Yeah, yeah, she grew up and all that but STILL! It should've been Jo/Laurie! :(

I KNOW, RIGHT? How could his standards have lowered that drastically to go for Amy?!

I have a clear memory of myself as a child acting out the various scenarios in which Laurie left Amy and returned to Jo, and crying as I did so because I got so worked up over the injustice of it all. Man, what I wouldn't give for a professional-quality fan-written sequel that set everything to rights.
