137. Why is this a Fandom Secret? It's just a regular secret. It's not pertaining to anything fandom but to Hipsters, themselves.

140. Strange enough, with the exception of Heath Ledger because he worked with Gilliam before the TDK, I didn't find Pitt or Cruise interesting until they took those type of roles, thought Pitt did win me over in 12 Monkeys. Though he bought and sold me in Fight Club.

Cruise and Pitt can act. But they do it best when they play against type. And it's their play against type characters that everyone points out as being their favorite roles for that actor. Why aren't producers putting them in more roles like that?

140 - I totally agree with you and it baffles me as well. I have a strong and intense loathing for Cruise, but I can't deny that he was pretty awesome in War of the Worlds. For once, he didn't play himself and it showed. Same with Lestat and (to a certain extent) The Last Samurai. And total agreement on 12 Monkeys and Brad Pitt. 12 Monkeys --> stole my heart, Fight Club --> owned my soul, ever since... *sigh*
