I don't remember, sadly. I think I tried not to think about it too much and quickly start a new game to get one of the "right" results (and hey, the odds were good I'd get it 2/3rds of the time). Though if you watch the ending cinematics I linked to above, you'll see that Plum seems to be really regretful about what he'd done (one more reason I liked him, I think), so it's possible I saw Scarlet as still being willing to be with him/wait for him. I don't think I had any headcanons for what happened if Scarlet was the murderer.

Like I said, I didn't have much of a cohesive plot, so I never even came up with motivations for why the characters wanted Mr. Boddy dead, which might have had an impact on how I viewed everybody. Young me was more focused on the romance.
