This is my all-time favorite book, but I can't muster up an OUNCE of excitement for this film.

Also, as a vehement anti-Jo/Laurie person, I can't help but side-eye anyone who complains about Jo getting married, because I know far too many people who would suddenly have no problem with it if it had been Laurie she "gave up her life for".

I was waiting for the accusation of being a Jo/Laurie shipper. Nope, sorry to disappoint you. I liked their friendship, but they wouldn't have made a good couple, IMO.

Don't really care who you do or do not ship and also didn't really accuse you personally, just said that I see the association far too often. Hard to take any sort of BUT FEMINISM protest seriously as a result.
