I get where you're coming from but there's sort of a distinction for me in that Scientology is one specific religious organization which operates as a cult and which it seems both benefits from and works to further the careers of its celebrity members.

nayrt - That's a pretty obvious and important distinction. IMO anyone who fails to make it either doesn't know much about Scientology, or they're trolling.
