I don't know much about Veronica Mars, but people don't really get to choose what they are attracted to, good or bad, they only get to choose what they do about it. If someone changes significantly from the person they were, that can also significantly change how attractive someone finds them. If she wants him to regress from being in a better place for him as a person, yeah, that's bad, but if she's only lamenting what was, well, that's pretty normal, even if what was wasn't that great.

Same. OMG, so much same.

Veronica's character in Season 4 bothered me on many levels. Probably the biggest issue I had was that she wasn't supportive of Logan trying to better himself and that she wanted him to be the angry asshole he was as a teenager. It's been many years and other relationships and therapy hours since he was that person. It was also quite bothersome that she had no interest in bettering herself.
