Not the OP, but I'm sorry you've had a bad time with it. I've only had good experiences with it so far, but I think it's because I mostly stick to my fellow Repo! fans on LJ rather than trying to connect with the people on the boards.

PS. Your icon is awesome. The coloring is just perfect.

I think I'd have an easier time of it if I went to LJ first, actually. Jumping into the official boards where everything feels very clique-y wasn't the best experience. I mean, everyone is incredibly nice and polite, but I never get past the nice and polite so I don't feel like they really care that I'm there...if that makes sense. Maybe I'll try getting into the LJ section?

I totally understand what you mean. I've been a fan for ages, but haven't started being an active member of the board until recently, so I kind of feel like an outsider. I lurk more than I post. And hey, if you're looking for some more LJ Repo! fans, I'm always looking to meet new friends who are into this fandom. :]

That sounds great. I know I'd love someone (a fellow lurker) to talk with in the fandom. :D

Strange, I just sort of jumped into the forums and started posting. What really connected with me was the chat the creators and actors took part in last week. It just seemed so open yet close knit. And Ohgr got booted from the chatroom and we laughed.

Good times.

Yeah, I was in that chat and pther chats with the creators and actos. Been going into the chatrooms for a while and chat, but no one ever really...you know, talked back to me. So after a good month of that I just gave up.
