Short answer: Yes, but.

Long answer: My ideal shipping scenario is a TV pairing where you have absolutely no idea if you're even meant to ship it for the first couple of seasons - you just want to because they're dynamic is compelling. Then, the narrative slowly gives you indicators that, yes, they definitely do have non-platonic feelings for each other. But It's Complicated, and they're definitely not prepared to act on it. So then they're just completely in love with each other but acting like it's not a thing for several seasons.

And then eventually, probably in the final season, they get together. But it's subtle and doesn't really change that much about the story. They were always 100% all-in about each other, it's just now they have the certainty that it's reciprocal. Plus now they have sex.
