tbh i have this problem with almost every fandom OT3 where it's obvious the writer really only loves two characters in it, while the other is shoved in as some weird-ass third wheel despite the fact that they're supposed to be an equal part of the triad.

i do think they like the third character, but only to be their inserted mouth-piece about how great A/B really are, and idk, it's just gotten bothersome to me over the years and i refuse to engage with OT3 stuff, even if i like them, bc i'll just end up disappointed.
