John Cannon and Victoria in The High Chaperaal. Adam Deveril and Jenny Chawleigh in A Civil Contract (Georgette Heyer). James and Anne Onedin in The Onedin Line. I love 'arranged' or business-like marriages that turn into something warmer, especially when its the woman who takes the lead in proposing the business side - even better if the man is reluctant at first. A real life example: Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
