AYRT—no, it’s actually a local government job, which means not being open on time could’ve been a big deal. There used to be a person who oversaw scheduling at all our locations and if you called in you had to call both your work location and the emergency scheduler, but keeping people on call to fill in at a moment’s notice was seen as too expensive. If we’d still had an emergency scheduler, I would’ve just called them, because the stand by people used to have alarm codes and keys that worked for all our locations and I wouldn’t have spent my morning apologizing to confused, angry members of the public.
