Sorry for the late reply, I hope you see this.

I haven't played any Fire Emblem games except the ones on the 3DS and I never even finished those.

There are some romance but I found myself running around returning lost items to students than inviting them up for tea unless I was trying to recruit them. Honestly what sold me on the game is everyone said it was basically a Harry Potter sim and I find that mostly accurate. But more so I think of it as a military soap opera and I'm loving it.
