I would say all of that falls under the theatrical bit, especially, again, your point about the eyebrows. It fits the character, which is the point of theaterical makeup.

Does it make Sophie Turner look like a better version of Sophie Turner? Not to me, she looks like someone else. But that's the point of theatrical makeup, unlike regular personal makeup

This is where we disagree.

It's possible that in different lighting and from a different angle I might feel differently (I could see the brows working less well in full light, for example), but going purely by this picture, I think she looks drop dead gorgeous - and still recognizably herself.
