I think it's clear that the point is as follows - his legasy is his fans who took drugs and now suffer some side effects due to that.

...which is kinda wrong as he made a lot of music.

Yup, it's wrong, not to mention shitty. Hating on an artist is one thing, but taking shots at his fans/groupies for admiring him and liking his work is a bit trashy.
