So do you hate non-canon other pairings too? I'm just curious, 'cos maybe it's the lack of canon that you dislike not the 'slash' itself.

ha, high five for asking basically the same question~

It's a totally important question. I mean some people ~~like me~~ really like off the wall pairings. Other people are diehard canon fans. Nothing wrong with it ( and liking canon != homophobic ).

Which, if you asked the same question you probably thought of anyway. Whoop dee whoop. I am curious about your question as well -- and whether or not the bounds of shipping things center around 'wanting to bang/have sex with' or also to the 'have a romantic relationship that may exclude sex or may not' or 'closer than friends/family' or whatever. And dysfunctional shipping ~~foeyay~~ as well as functional shipping. It's such a broad topic.
