Can't we all just smack the crazies and get over it? Nobody likes to be typecasted as any one thing, and all of this is getting very stupid and very repetitive.

There is stupid on both sides, can we all just ignore the stupid and enjoy it in peace?

Both sides have acted like asses. Both sides have gotten upset. We all have. Both sides repeatedly try to one up each other. I see shipping being used more as a weapon now rather than something enjoyable.

Both sides a great at dishing out the hurt.

I really need a get over it icon, because people seriously need to let it go. I don't really care what is going on in the Zuko/Katara comms, but apparently that bothers a lot of people, and the Zuko/Katara people have and do act just as high and mighty as the other side with the "Our ship is more creative than yours" and "we have better fic" and other really stupid stuff.

But this might also be because Avatar is a first fandom for some people because I am seriously flashing back to my teen years in the stupidity that was Gundam Wing fandom and that was crazy with the shipping and the butthurt.
