I would have settled for the demon in the first episode not looking like she was about to cry after he hit her. Or for Dean not dropping the dollar bill on the table. Or him throwing something at one of her goons instead of punching her. Or them staging the situation differently. Or the OTHER female character in the first episode not getting her eyes burned out (why hello there, the ONLY two female characters in the episode getting fucked over.)

Because of course, it's only fucked up and sexist if Dean is punch and raping innocent women. Because punching and raping bad girls is totally okay!

Christ, take yourself a little less srsly, please. The hitting/raping was sarcasm, as if it would happen. How many episodes are there where people besides the main characters aren't fucked over or killed? Would you rather they cast no men, or have Dean treat everyone with kid gloves and NOT be Dean?

Yeah, yeah. Here we go again. If you see sexism, you're reading too much into it or taking yourself too seriously or think the characters should be something other than what they are. Except that Dean, Sam and the writers were sexist but not to this extent in the first two seasons. It was there in the "women are the constant victims", but women weren't sluts or skanks or bitches every episode.

Also, if you think the raping bit was a joke, I think you need to rewatch Dean's scenes with Bela in "Time Is On My Side".

Note: I stopped watching after the first episode of the fourth season-- I don't watch TV with more than a quarter of my brain focused on it, and if I can see at least four examples of sexism that make me want to beat someone until they bleed without actually paying attention...
