I have no idea how to word this but sdkfhsdf really? We're "out of touch with reality" for liking non-canon pairings? I... don't understand how that works. Canon or not canon, they're all fictional characters used to entertain our asses, and as long as we're not shoving it down other people's throats, I don't see the problem with that. Ship what you want, there's no need to turn it into something bordering "elite/pretentious."

I think it's directed at the ones who insist it's canon when it isn't. Harry Potter fandom ring a bell?

Agree; in that case, I can very much agree with this secret, too. Defend your ship all you want, but don't force it on anyone else.

See, in that light, I totally agree. If they're shoving it down your throat, they're way out of line. Live and let live; neither "side", het, yaoi, yuri, has any right to be a dick to another just because they like something and the other doesn't.
